My leaf spring won't stay on track?

My leafspring in the rear keeps sliding out. It's a trail gear of unknown age. I have a 88 runner with SAS running 37's. I beat it back straight with a hammer but it just goes back when I drive a small distance on road. Any advice on how to fix this? Picture is at full drop using a jack on my rock sliders.

Re:

Leafs on my old Tacoma (63" chevy rears and Rancho/Waggy hybrid front packs) always did that. They had retainers on them, but they weren't like the ones pictured above. Those look better than the ones that were on mine. The front was where all my travel was, and they fanned out like crazy...I used sledge hammer a lot lol.

Leafs on the front of the Toyota I have now are All Pro 6" lift packs and they fan out a little too. Again retainers on them do not look as good as the ones pictured above either, so that's probably why. But they are getting gone anyhow, bout to link it.

I've had that problem on several rigs the small clamp above are weak as piss and prob won't hold as much as yours are walking out! U welded a piece of 3/16" flat plate to the u bolt plate and never had any more problems! Hope that helps?
