Looks good but Im a little worried about your rear 60. Did you swap out the spindles? That year 60 has the smaller spindles and boring them out can bad news.

I bored them out(had a buddy that works at a machine shop do it for real cheap). I figured when they bent I would cut them off and go with the unit bearing ford outers. It was more cost effective this way to get it goin those ends and unit bearings are expensive. Thanks though:awesomework:

Yea it takes awhile to find one but if you find one from 70 to 72 they are the narrow width with larger spindles.

I dont know exactly what year it is. The hubs and brakes are off of a 67(the drum sits behind the wheel mount flange but the brakes that were on it had drums that sat between the wheels and the hub. Other than the BOM number are there any other ways to tell what year it was?

when i was searching for mine i noticed that all of the smaller spindle 60's use nuts and tapered keepers to hold the shafts in. the drums are also very skinny

They both had tapered bushings and nuts so I am sure that both axles were smaller spindle ones. I guess I will try to gather parts to swap unit bearings on it when I bend them:D

It drove out under its own power tomight so I figured I would snap a few pics, I have a bunch of loose ends(arb lines, check bolts and so on) but kinda exciting to be able to hit the gas and have it move:beer: :D

Thanks:beer: I am going to reworking the upper coil mounts in the rear to hopefully lower it another 2 inches and make a little clearance for the exhaust to get through. I am also goin to move the front forward 2" and lower it as well. The top of the cage should then be around 76" off the ground, I will have about 4-5" of up travel and about 98-99" wheelbase. I will post so pics of the progress:D

Did you re-use the frame coil buckets on the rear or buy some more?

I built some for it, I didnt want to monkey around modifying the factory one, it was just as easy to just build new ones:D the rear coils are kinda temporary untl I buy a set of 12" kings for the rear:cool:
