My white trash hillbilly trailer court beadlocks

... I went w/ the Tek 8 screws. 60 per tire (30 per side).

Not the best beadlocks that there is, but it has to be better than nothing! And since I don't have a shop, I put them all in in my living room :redneck: .

Fawk my arm is sore! :beer: :beer: Thats OK, I will drink the pain away camping this weekend :beer: :beer:

mine have been working well for a few years now. I do have 2 that leak. but I never took the time to fix the leaky ones.

ICEman broke off all the screws on one wheel on BYS in his Sammi. I was shocked.

I always wanted to try this, im interested in how well it works. I was worried about hitting a sharp edge at low pressure and poking a screw through the tread.

Well they are all done, and 2 of them have little leaks. I will get that all stopped later... no biggie.

I figure best case is they work great and I have 20 bucks in them
Worst case it ruins the wheels and tires.

I've heard this works well for snow wheeling and going straight down the road. BUT, when crawing, if you pull a bead, the tire is going to be FAWKED.

I have seen a wheel with all of these screws broken off. We re-set the tire with starting fluid and off we went. There was really no major damage to the tire.

I've heard of a guy in a fullsize, with the same tek 5 beadlocks, that taco'd a rim and drove on it... With it aired down to 8-10 lbs... No problems, still beaded... Had to swap out for the spare, but tire was fine...

my cousin used to do this same thing with his competition pullin truck back in the late 80s, granted there was no off camber situations, it was just so they didnt slip on the rim, but he was runnin a 600 somthin kieth black block on alchy at about 1300 hp towing a sled and never broke em off that i know of, the twisting sidways action of crawlin may be a different story but it worked for him and alot off others
