Naches Saturday 9-27-08

My roommate and I are headed up to the rocks Saturday morning to play around, anybody going to be up there? If there is anybody from Ellensburg that wants to tag along we will be stopping at the Super 1 foods parking lot at 9:30 or so then unloading at Barber Springs Road. My roomate has a mild Jeep so we wont be getting to rowdy on the rocks but it should be fun.

While yer at Barber Springs check out the spot where the 2x ranger drove off the road last weekend.... He came out through the trees there where people camp on the right side of the road just below the hole in the rocks... He was looking at a deer somewhere and just drove off the road!:haha: Lucky he didn't get hurt.......

I will be up there with a group of Scouts. We will be running trails Sat, probably won't get to the rocks until Sunday.

bummer... Ill probably be up there next weekend also, I could do saturday or sunday then too.

Do you know if the camper is still dumped there? I would like to organize a day to get that out of there before the impending snow. I could probably fit the hulk on my carhauler and the rest of the junk in my bed, but havent thought of a good way to either chop it up or push it up on the deck.

Yes, the camper was still there a few weekends ago when I was up there...

Still looks like **** with trash all over the place.

Still there....Not sure theres much to chop up....It looks to have been run over a time or two...still a big mess though.

Well... we never made it up to the rocks. After unloading we were mobbing up barber springs and the can popped off my powersteering pump. So I had to turn around and head back to the the trailer with my tail between my legs.

I called PSC to see what they said and I believe I have it fixed for this weekend.:corn:

That would be me...driving the girlfriend's TJ. We were part of a group of 20+ rigs heading to Region 4 Meadows to camp for the night.

Started out in Greenwater, ran Naches Trail, Kaner, 617 (lily pond), up Milk Creek Road, down Tripod, & up Shoestring to the meadows.

Lots of pavement involved so we left the orange rig at home :looser:

Sure enough did...There will be a video put together soon as well of the weekend. I am waiting for some video and pics from some out of towners to come in the mail.

The run was a gathering of IH forum people on Pirate4x4.com.
