Sky's arms are shorter in length and and have proper ackerman though, can't compare.heep70 said:I have the Sky highsteer stuff. On center from ball joint to ball joint is 45.5" with 3/16" toe.

Where'd you hear this little tidbit? Last I saw marlin and allpoo were still selling the old allpoo CAST arms...Trailtoy1993 said:Marlins arms are Sky's arms Sky is producing the hi-steer that Marlin and All-poo are selling now......
Has to do with steering geometry, google it and you'll see.heep70 said:HHHmmmmmm cool, I wasn't sure of the differnces. What is "ackerman"?

I just looked, and no they are not. Sky is still selling his Stage 6 arms like I have on my truck. AllPoo is selling some supposedly forged arms with a kind of "web" machining job done to them. Marlin is selling his two-piece billet arms, which have a pressed in pin, as well as his new 6 stud arms.Trailtoy1993 said:Marlins arms are Sky's arms Sky is producing the hi-steer that Marlin and All-poo are selling now......
I'm too lazy to explain when there's lots of pages out there explaining it. Has to do with the different radius of the inside and outside tires path in relation to the steering angle imparted by the linkage. Let's just say that Allpoo's original poor design gave you a ****-ton of toe-in whenever you turned.heep70 said:You don't know either do ya :redneck: :;
Wow, that's a crappy article. :haha: :flipoff: Try these ones, much better visualsheep70 said:
