need help fast

ok so i put a 93 ext cab on my 81 frame. i have a a carburated 4.3, so i got it a wired up and tried to start it. it turns over and gets fuel but wont start, it run before the new cab i dont know what happend. im clueless now need help please

Did you hook up good grounds to the new cab & block ? Is it cranking over really fast or normal ?

I'll take a shot in the dark and say your missing a ground connection. Such as the back of the head to the firewall...

i didnt blow it off :fawkdancesmiley: ok so i do have good grounds from the block to frame, block to body and block to battery i have an msd 6a ignition and im pretty sure i hooked it up right. it cranks over like normal just doesnt fire still no spark i checked the distributer and every thing looks good i quess i dont need help fast just need it done by may lol. i can not figure it out i messed with it for like two hours today still no go

Have you followed MSD's instruction on troubleshooting a no spark condition with one of their boxes???? Google is your friend....:awesomework:

yes i followed there instructions and still no spark, changed coils still no spark, there is also one black wire that comes off of the distributer not sure where it goes but i know it doesnt go to power cuz it gets super hot. im starting to think my msd took a crap but not sure how when it worked just fine before the cab swap
