i thought about alcan spring's with the johnny joint's but i'm kinda lost right now.
any help or idea's would be most appreciated right about now.

thank's justin

Can you provide some more information:

vehicle make and model?
tire size?
engine size?
what terrain you are building for?
how much money do you have?
what are you fab skills? limits?
any other useful info....

lmao sorry!

i guess the info might help.
85 yota,33in tire's for now but soon will be 36
mostly wood's wheeling, as far as the price thing go's i like to see what thing's
cost first then go from there.
i have use of a welder,torch,grinder,air tool's that sort of tool's.
as far as my skill's go i do know how to weld ok, i mean the stuff hold's but don't really look the best i think.

i wanted to run comanchie spring's but they might bend like xj spring's?

It is possible to fit 36" tires with no lift: cut the cab corners, weld in sheetmetal, and trim the fenders to fit. If you want to change springs, factory packs seem to last longer than aftermarket sets. Chevy 63" rear springs are popular in the back- the longer the better. Full size Wagoneer fronts, or factory 1985 rears in the front will work good also. Try to avoid aftermarket springs with alot of arch: anything over 5" lift. If you are going to weld suspension brackets or anything important on, DO NOT use a 110v welder- flux core sucks! Even at full power, they are not good enough. Also factory rubber bushings last longer than polyurethane. I dont know where you live, but going to popular 4x4 areas, looking at vehicles, and talking with drivers, should help too.

thank's

thank's for the info, i knew about the waggy's but everyone want's an arm and a leg for them so i ain't going that rout, i might try the 63in chev spring's
but that's after i see if i bend the crap out of some comanchie spring's first.
anyhow just so you know i live around the woodenville/kirkland area.
i have been working on my truck for the last two day's an got some stuff done so now i'm all pumped to keep going.

X2 Stock rears up front with a few extra leaves out of the stock front pack and chebys in the rear. Build bumpstops for the rear so you dont bend the chebys.

I have used the chevys for years and love them I run a dual shackel set works really well for me! rancho 44044 up front. its cheap and works great!
