I need some help on knowing which steering valve to get got a psc double ended ram set up going to run v8 with 43'' tires don't know which vavle to get thanks for any advise.

What size ram do you have?
What length throw is it?
How much throw do you need? (will you have to limit ram?)
and
How many turns lock to lock do you want? *usually around 2.5-3.5 is what most people prefer for a trail rig

Read BillaVista's hydraulic steering article. Or, bug TBIToy (Nick) with all your questions like I did :****:

I wrote up a quick excel sheet to calculate and compare 4 rams at a time. That way I wouldnt' have to do actual math each time I'm comparing different setups.

this is a comparison of the setups I'm considering on a Toyota I'm building

I can email a the excel sheet to anyone who wants it, just email me

No problem, let me know if you have any suggestions to improve it.

I added some color and instructions to make it easier.

Looks like all the double ended rams take more to turn the same stroke as single ended rams

Huh?

Naw the double ended rams (and retract side of se rams) are less turns lock to lock than the same parts on the extension side of a single ended ram.

Single ended rams are different volumes on one side than the other, that's why I added the lower section to calculate the "big" side of a se ram.

Unless I misunderstood what you meant :dunno:
