Anyone racing or interested in racing ECORS for 2012 must read this: http://www.ecors.com/rules

Updates on safety
Updates on recovery equipment

We also opened up the Stock and Modified class to group in more teams and to allow more upgrades and innovation. This way guys can run their back-halfed Jeep or other trail rig. 4 link front and rear with coil springs are even allowed in the Modified class! Check out the class updates!!!

Also, for 2012, the UTV class will be part of the Series Championship, earning points for the title at the end of the season.

Just looked at the rules, it says-
"Each safety tool must contain all of the following:

Seat belt cutter
Window/glass breaker
Knife

Tool must be mounted where it can be removed easily and quickly in an emergency without the use of tools."

How exactly do you secure these? Masking tape, since it rips easily?
And can I secure dibs on #51 in B class? Just wondering, it's already on the doors bigger than ****.

as long as a B class racer from last year doesn't claim #51, you should be good :D

And, these usually fit in a canvas sheath for your belt. hose clamp the sheath or use zip ties would work. No-tool access :D Also, I'm working on drawing up a quick release metal kit like we've offered for the fire extinguishers. But, don't expect that to be released yet as it has to be tested and such :)
