" New " BFG KRT Brawler ?

So I guess a "new" Krawler has been built then :dunno:

this was in a press release , and Dant at BTF was talking about a "new" Krawler Is it just a redesign or what... Spec's ??

"This year the Pirate4x4 Bronco will be running the newly developed BF Goodrich 39" KRT Brawler"

I've asked him several times if there was something getting developed or re-did about them and he hadn't heard anything.. :dunno:

I still like the rig, its very cool... but the color's are gravedigger gay and cheapen the experience for me personally... Id still give a nut for it. laughing1

I don't even know or care really. When I think KRT I think those wide, ugly looking baja tires. Maybe those are just Krawlers with added sidewall. Who knows

I don't know, We haven't built any tire at Work that says BRAWLER on it yet. I asked about an upgraded Krawler last week and they didn't know anything about it. That doesn't mean it isn't happening just means the people at work don't know about it. The people who deisgn tires don't actually work at our plant.
Those Krawlers just look like ordinary Krawlers to me but what do I know.

If they do make them with the Baja sidewalls they would be Majestic.

I thought there was a run of them with, like said above, desert sidewall and krawler tread. Maybe smaller tread blocks like the MT. I know the Derek West and Twisted Customs were suppose to be running some special tire for XRRA.

The Brawler is just the KRT like Derek West and the Lovell brothers ran in XRRA. JR has normal Red Labels on his buggy in those pictures.

no ****, the KRT has been out for a while. project with krawler tread ??? what? DW had 37's as did the lovell's and shannon for one lap. they have been out there. the projects go by another acronym. the krt's are the project with krawler tread. they now make a 39 in the same tire. you will see several sets at KOH if you can suck off the right guy to sell you a set :

You have no luck with Victor because he only GIVES tires away to the top guys for free (ie BFG Sponsored drivers like Lovell, Shannon and now Nicole and JR) Eric Jackson handles the race program, which are the teams that have to buy tires, but still get a discounted price and have the privledge to run comp only tires (ie teams like the rest of us). I think a lot of the tires that are NEW like this are not even available for purchase. They give the prototype sets to the sponsored drivers because that is how it works. If you win the race you get a BFG sponsorship for the year, I bet you can get a set that way.
