[Budget YJ]

Just now getting around to building what I've always wanted.......a Full Tube Buggy :****:
Here are the pics from the tear down of the jeep( tore apart on Sat and started the buggy on Sun) this is what I've got so far after 1 full weeks work.
I took a weeks vac to get a good start and havent gotten anything done since
I hope to get alot done this weekend.

I'm making some changes to the way I done the spacers... ???Wasnt thinking when I cut them....they needed to be cut a an angle not straight. It looked stupid where the back bar hit the center hoop and the spacer was running up hill I'll just use them somewhere else ;D

I would suggest finding something else to prop it up on rather than a plastic propane tank. I would not want to weld within 20 feet of that tank. Safety man,...... safety.

Yeah....I've been pretty busy.
Thats what happens when you drink too many VAULTS and get into Scott's stash.

Yeah John...that does look pretty bad....but its only holdin up the winch and its part of my secret..........................(jet propulsion) when it ignites from the welding sparks.

Alan, steppin up to a full tube rig. Gonna be interesting to watch. One of the best drivers I've seen on the rocks. Made that cherokee go where big dogs couldn't....Get it together...

Yea man, Alan in that DAMN CHEROKEE used to keep me scracthin my head ALL the time.........and he also did not do TOO BAD in the ole BUDGET YJ THING......

Heck yea, that exhibition was fun as crap ( and ended up costing me a ton of money cause I wanted to race bad after playing in that !! )

Yeah!!! I wish I would have never sold that ol P.O.S.
I had the most fun in this than anything Ive had. It went where is shouldnt and nobody expected it to do anything.
These pics are on the rock mountain in the parking lot @ River Rock.
