I want to lift my TJ Rubicon to get some clearance and some rubber under it. The problem is not much money. Can I run stock comtrol arms with a three inch coil lift? Will it keep correct geometry with out adj control arms? really dont want to do a T case lowering kit. Can I skip it with a longer driveline? Any help or advice would be a huge help.

Adjustable control arms will only help keep your axle at the correct angle, for the right control arm angles you need drop brackets or long arms.

cheap would a spring spacer kit and a 1" body lift. Down the road the body lift enables you to lift the motor and trans to get a flat skip plate.

I have not written much on this board, but ill give my opinion.

Like mentioned, a 2" Budget Boost and 1" Body Lift & Motor Mount Lift will let you run 33s. Netting the same lift you mentioned. With out the need to Control Arms, track bar, and other items.

Stock control arms should be fine. Stock Driveline should be fine. Should not require a Tcase drop. The BL and MML help with the driveline angle. This is the every jeep is different disclaimer.

You typically just go to a CV DS not a longer one with the Rubi.

IMHO do what ever you can to keep from dropping the shovel, that is going the wrong way.

I run a OME lift, 2.5", with stock control arms. Then the a 1.25 JKS BL and MML. I ran 33s for quite some time on that setup. About a grand to do it. I still run that lift with larger tires now.
