I dunno... I bought it cheap from a friend who needed money. It's an '07 Stinky Deluxe. Rode it around for half an hour tonight and almost died... I'm so out of shape. I used to ride street and some dirt a lot on various 20" bikes. Hopefully this will be a little easier on the body.

SICK SICK BIKE Matt!!!

You'll love it and yes it's a lot easier on the body, even my dirt jumping hardtail with a little front suspension makes a difference on the shoulders :awesomework:

Muscle Bikin'? :redneck:

Oh yeah, and gotta rep Das Rad Haus in Leavenworth, WA. I used to buy parts from James Munley before he started his own shop... back when he worked at Der Sportsman. He always had a little time to BS a bit and give a broke kid a good deal.

Ride the Cascades!

Yep, gotta get some riding in before the weather gets too bad over here. I'm going to ride to work tomorrow and then tool around town after work and see what kind of trouble I can scare up. :redneck:

Two things:

1. Buy a lid, seriously.....and wear it!!!:fawkdancesmiley:

2. Find a set of stairs....proceed to urban DH them like they're going out of style!!!:awesomework:

Yeah, I still have a helmet from the BMX days... dug it out tonight, it should do for now.

right on! that's what i ride with, is my old BMX bucket. :awesomework:

i'm thinking i might be investing in a full face helemt for next summer, whether it be to protect my pretty face or to hide my hideous mug for the sake of others....who's to know, really?!?!:redneck: :haha:

Well, I have my full face motocross helmet, I figure for situations that warrant it, I can wear that and for just goofing around town, I'll wear the old BMX lid.

Nice score Matt! I wear my motocross helmet for the real DH stuff other than that i just wear a little brain bucket

Right on, nice bike!! I never did get a Kona DH bike, they didn't make them quite small enough...  . But I have a Kona hardtail and LOVE IT! :cheer:

I started dh riding with a little helmet, and even rode up at Snoqualmie Pass and what have you! ( ) But my 'courage' went up exponentially with a full face helmet-- your riding will improve by dramatically once you get your chin out of the equation (never mind body armor- fahghetaboutit!)

Oh yah, hook up with the guys at the das rad haus and have them show you the trails around the area. There's a whole bunch off Chumstick and one off Icicle creek road called "skinny puppy", if you can call it a trail. Pretty much like fall line skiing without the snow. Bad ass!

Make sure to try some of the standard fair stuff like Mission ridge trail and Devils gultch, which is a little closer to you. There are trails up at Mission Ridge as well.
