Here in a couple weeks I have to go work 30 minutes north of New Orleans and we are talking about going down there one night. I've heard good and i've heard bad. Are the horror stories true and its a city of :afro: :afro: :afro: or should we go to Biloxi? The boss wants to gamble but I work too hard to piss my money away like that so I plan on drinking it away. Thoughts?

A long long time ago I went to New Orleans with a bunch of my buddies. That is all I can remember.
Hahahah!!! Woooo hoooo. Perfect timing
Never been to Biloxi, I personally think New Orleans is a nasty ass, stankin ass dirty city. Filled with weirdos and fags,,:. Oh here's a surprise ******s to.

Awesome town, definitely go. Just like any larger city, stay out of the places common sense tells you to stay out of and you'll be fine.

I'm working in New Orleans now. My boss use to send me down here for 2 months at a time but now it's kinda rare. Had some good times on Bourbon St. from what I can remember. :drinkers:

I live in North Louisiana and we go visit family around the New Orleans area often. The city use to be awesome but after Katrina hit, a lot of the hardworking fun loving partygoers have moved on and the city is stuck with section 8 and illegal immigrants. If you go, keep your I.D. and cash in your front pocket (DO NOT CARRY YOUR WALLET). Go during the week, not as crowded. If you take your lady with you, do not let her dress sexy or you will both have a miserable time.

NOTE: most bars do not pat you down when entering so make damn sure you are packing cause I promise you that everyone else is.

For a party New Orleans is great, to gamble go to Biloxi, more Casino's in Biloxi

Me and the wife have been several times and took my daughter when she was 2. We walked around all the normal spots with her just didn't stay out long after dark because of the drinking and all. I have never felt unsafe down there

I went to the Sugar Bowl a few years back and liked it, good food, and Harrah's Casino was the tits! On the weekend after a certain time at night, they had hot bitches dancing on poles toward the back with music playing, it was like being in a titty bar playing black jack! Just stay in the main area and all should be ok. It's cool walking thru the town and looking up at the river to see the boats go by.

I vote biloxi, last time I went I came out of the hard rock with a grand that I won on the wheel of fortune slot machine. :dblthumb: :woot:

my wife and I went on our anniversary two years ago. I never wished I had my gun with me more than then(we flew out). We were back in our hotel before dark each night. It has to be the nastiest city I've been in, and I've been in a bunch. I don't know what was worse, the weirdos hanging around to get their picture taken for $5, the bums pissing in the bushes by the side walk(they go into the bushes to take a dump), or the street vendors trying to shake you down( the beer can dancers will take your wallet if you pull it out). If I were in my 20's, single and was running with a large group, the place would be different. Every one talks about how good the food is, every where we ate it was expensive and nasty. My wife didn't feel safe in most of the places we were at. The overwhelming smell of raw sewage is something you won't forget. Next time a hurricane hits that place, they would do everyone a favor by letting it all float out to sea.

I'm a bama fan but went to the sugar bowl when Arkansas played Ohio state in the Sugar Bowl. All of my coworkers were Arkansas fans but that's was a awesome night.
