I have a 1995 Ford F350 that has 215k on the clock with the 5 speed and the 7.3L. I am doing some things to it before I make the haul down to KOH this year. I would like to be able to pull an 8k lbs load over I90 without hitting 4th gear. So I am starting with my home brew intake and exhaust with Banks down pipes. EGT and boost gauge. Know I would like to chip it but I dont have any clue what is the best for this truck. I want to be able to benifit from better fuel managment, and more, smoother power. What do you all recomend as far as a chip goes?

Ts makes a good blank- There are a number of tuners out there that tune on the TS chip. Swamps, Beans, Total diesel performance, Gearhead automotive, etc. Pretty much any tuner out there except DP tuner uses the TS chip for tuning a 7.3 anymore.. Call any of them up and tell em what you set up is and go from there.

So you are saying pretty much any brand is fine, just call and ask?

I'm saying that whoever you have burn custom tunes for a PSD is most likely going to use a TS blank. All the names I listed above are good tuners. My next reburn I think will be by Matt at Gearhead automotive. I've heard really good things about his tunes.
