I was at MM this past Saturday helping Randy and Chris scout out some new trails. I believe the new trails are going to be the ****. I 'll let Randy chime in to give some 411 on the finished trails, but if he stays to the original plan or better they are going to be definitly some of the hardest trails there. Chris even managed to get the excavator stuck at the start of one of the trails.

MAN I hope my junk makes it, I'm stoked to come ruin another tire
Your going to love it, make sure your cage is tight, some of the new trails are a little steep.

Working Sat. and Sun. netted us 4 NEW TRAILS at the park and improvements to two others. There is stil some work to to to get everything finished for RBD, but I believe that we can finish it up this weekend and everyone will be pleased with the results. We found some more killer ledges and and technical spots to test you guys with. :spin:

Yep, its true we stuck the excavator trying to make one of the trails. Not in mud, just the terrain that it was in was too much for it to extract itself, and we probably shouldn't of had it down there anyway. ;D We got it out Sun. morning and finished up the work, but we broke two chains and pulled down two trees in the process!

I want to thank Brad for helping with the chainsaw and tree skidding duties on some really steep hills we couldn't get the equipment on. We really appreciate it , man!

For you guys that don't know your way around the back side of the park, you are really going to be lost now. :flipoff1: We added new access roads along with the trails so a map update is really needed.

So, in closing, all of this just leaves one question....

Who is gonna be the first ones up these trails to get to name them????

I'm going to head over this weekend, lookin' forward to seeing the new trails. Did you guys end up doing the "squeeze rock" type trail?

We extended senic over look. Did away with the bypass and now you have to go up the ledge. then another ledge off camber. Still hill is moved and now steeper. Theres a new ledge beside crows nest. I don't know where the fourth is. We didn't do a pinch rock when I was there but Randy kept metioning it.

Hey Brad, We actually built two more Sunday that you didn't get to see. One is a Slickrock type climb and the other is a pretty nasty ledge with a squeeze at the top. All the new trails are on the side of the mountain that Still Hill is on except the improved Scenic Overlook and the trail by Crow's Nest.

Looks like I'm going to head up that way Sunday to help with trails and set up, clean up, whatever. Anybody want to go? I'm wheelin' over in the ZJ so I'll have a few open seats.
