So my TV started going bad. The Picture on it had a horrible shadow. So today on my way home I stopped by the Circuit City in town which is going out of Business. They have had a lot of sales going on but I hadn't been yet. Well Today at Lunch they put everything 50% off. They had 4 T.V.s left and there were a few people looking at them when I walked in. The store was almost empty, sorta creepy feeling.
I noticed a nice 50" Panasonice Plasma TV for $1249.99. I called home and got my mom to look it up on Best Buy and it listed for $2699.99 on sale. So once I learned that I told the guy there I wanted it and I did just in time because right after I told the guy that someone else tried to get it.
When I went to check out it rang up at $1,000 even, which was $250 cheaper than the sticker on it. I was stoked. I hardly ever find deals like that. Needless to say by the time I left they had sold all there TV's.

carefull with that tv. dad has the same one. just older model. it will freeze images if stayed still long enough. it always manages to go away. just be carefull, like if you play video games or use a tivo. he has a HD tivo on there and we cant leave something paused very long, and he wont lemme use it with the 360.

damn good tv for that price though! thumb.gif

Amber bought us a new TV while we were in Cali.. :woot: I've never owned a new TV so its pretty cool to me. Nothing really spendy considering what folks buy now-a-days to look at , but its kickass in my world ! laughing1

I bought the same one yesterday at the CC up here, same price. I usually don't buy electronics if they aren't sony, but figured it was cheap enough to give it a go. I stopped in Wed evening, they had 12 left, got there yesterday, only 2 left, we bought both of them. My dad needed a new tv too.

I got a 42" Panisonic Plasma from a crackhead when I moved back to Iowa. Had it almost 2 years and no issues and i think it was almost 2 years old when I got it. I love it and even if it **** the bed tomorrow, I paid $600 for a TV, stand, 5 disc DVD and surround setup. :****:

The TV I have in my living room is something like 19" or 20" - it's got to be 23 years old - first color tv we ever had laughing1

I remember taping the Dukes of Hazard on a Beta VCR when I was a kid
