This was my rig up until about 2 weeks ago.. I got her bone stock, and took her to this over a 5 or 6 year period. I decided it was time to step up to something that did not have body panels on it so that I can run the rest of the trails that I have not been able to.
I actually made this YJ to nice to beat up, and I just could not bring myself to it, so I sold it to someone who would take care of it, and I bought me a buggy.
The YJ was a 94YJ with a Dana 44 up front with warn shafts and CTM's. The rear axle was a Dana 60 with 35 spline chromolly shafts and it was built by WMS.
I took the AX5 trannie out of it, and installed a 904 TF in it, and then hooked an Atlas II 4.3 to it. The axles has 513 gears in it. The rear had a spool, and the front had the lockright.
It had 39.5" Iroks on it with MTR Beadlocks.
The wheelbase was stretched to 105". The tube fenders and rear crusher corners were built by my buddy with alittle help from me.
The power plant in this beast was the almighty 4 cylinder. It got the job done, and it would crawl with the best of them.
