nitrogen release frmo air shocks

so i ma coming to the point of setting up the suspension stuffs on the hatch....
the 14" air shocks i have are "charged" ...that is how i received them.

i need to let out the pressure for mock up......i have left messages at Fox.but no reply.so, is there a specific procedure for this?being that they are charged with nitrogen AND oil i would think it may be a messy happening....:eeek:way to do it without losing oil?etc.....

its like letting air out of a tire , keep the shraider valve up high and go slow , no /very little oil should come out

push in the valve, they drop pretty quick with just a small amount

Yea just make sure they are fully extended and or no load. If you don't take these measures you'll end up getting a facial and nobody wants that :redneck:
