Where does one start to look to get into this hobby?

I spent the better part of yesterday getting really interested and just checking out these little things. There really like a mini offroader and look fun as heck. I guess some take it pretty serious too, events / challenges and contests.

Where would one start or look to get into one of these little rigs?

Yep local board and we take scale pretty seriously there. If you want to get a first hand look and feel for scale come out to our comp on sunday at the slab directly below snoqualmie falls. there will be about 30 trucks to look at covering 2 different classes. It is a fun friendly atmosphere and you are more than welcome to come hang out. I will be the big guy probably judging. Hope you can make it. sean.
