i have a jeep cherokee,np435,205,8 lug 44 an ff14 bolt/410's, 36''
anyhow i just need to know what would be the largest tire
i could run with my set up????

i know this might be a stupid question but i have a brain fart! lol.

Yea' pretty much what they said.

A D44 is generally OK up to 35". Larger than that and you become a "Test Pilot". You probably have a 4 liter inline six which is in your favor. If you have an automatic thats even a little easier on your axles.

We all know people that run bigger tires on a D44 and make them live for longer than expected. You should weigh the risk of larger tires against how badly you want to avoid a breakdown in the woods.

I do plan on going to 37's on RubyDoo with her 44's.

:haha: Have fun.

Depends how you drive, and how much your rig weighs. but 38 is the max for sure, you will break with 38s. I would rather run a smaller tire and be able to get after it a bit than have to baby it all the time to hold my **** together.

well that suck's to hear cuz i was hopeing that the 8 lug 44
was stronger, but oh well.
thank's very much for yall's input.:redneck:

without upgrading to chromo axels and CTMs or bobby long u joints id stay with your 36". i have 39.5" but have upgraded everything else in the front end to allow survival. plus im not nearly as aggressive as i used to be.
