Your running the chevy to chevy cases??? if so offroaddesigns specializes in chevy applications!!!

Also if your going doubler don't waste your time with the twin stick and go for there 3 stick combo or northwestfab i think has a cable operated 3 stick shifter as well they are super slick! You can have a super clean super easy working setup go with it you wont regret it I promise:beer:

p.s. I had one for all of 2 weeks in a rig at my grandfathers house before it got stolen:mad: its sweet I went all ford tho to all the all 31 spline outers and such:awesomework:

If i remember correctly you will want the 203 from behind a th350 for the tranny to t-case adapter to work correctly and the splines to match up, then a 205 out of a ford, for the 32/31 spline female input shaft(larger bearing size) then when you get you intermediate shaft for the 203, you can get the larger shaft size. I have some pics from when i did mine, I can dig up late tonight if you want... plus i think i took a few of the front dig mod, prety easy to do, just time consuming...well worth it though....if i ever get to test it out for real:haha:

Edit:
I went with a kit that clocked the 203 upside down and the 205 clocked flat, so i can't use the triple stick setup, which i would have gotten. But i can't remember the name of the company i got it from(actually bought it from a guy on this forum...) But i have found some for $599 with an exchange/turning of your intermediate shaft...i say pay the extra and get a new int. shaft.

brian i am almost ready (need tax return) to buy my adapter kit. im wanting the offroad-design 1" thick one, have you checked it out yet?

http://www.offroaddesign.com/catalog/doubler.htm

maybe a better deal if we buy two?

i have an old setup and the adapter and stubshaft are about 4 1/2" thick so im wanting to shorten this as much as possible.

or even....

What do you want for your set up? Length of it doesnt matter in my application.

its old school homemade i was told by cashy poo, has some issues. its for a chevy 205. the short shaft had some gauling on the spigot fit inside the 203 and needs to be replaced.

i paid 150 for it and was not able to get any use but id let it go for what i paid. you need to look at it first though before deciding.:fawkdancesmiley:

I would recommend running a th400, not a th350(the cases break). There are 2 ways to modify a 205 for twinstick: remove the shiftrail interlock pins, or modify the shiftrails. I have done both. Removing the interlock pins is the easiest and requires no parts or mods, just remove the parts, this allows the front and rear drivelines to be shifter independantly. Modifing the shiftrails requires you to do welding and machining, some people only grind, or you can buy them from ORD already modified. Shifting using modified rails is more difficult than no interlock pins, but keeps both outputs in the same range (hi or low). If you want to look at a tripplestick 203/205 and see how it shifts, give me a call. I also have most parts to do a th400/203/205. Off Road Design: 1-970-945-7777 is the best place for doubler parts, I have been doing business with Steven for about 10 years with no problems.

to be able to front dig you only need to grind one shift rail in two places....no welding...interlocks to keep front high and rear low at the same time stay in place.

real easy if out of the rig...

I am running the identical setup to you Brian. I purchased the ORD doubler adaptor and triple stick setup. Crash did the work and it was a LOT LOT LOT of work to get the shifters to all fit and work... unless you REALLY tear up the floor and the tunnel.

Brian I have a buddy that has the complete setup already built and ready to run. Never been wheeled yet and is ready for a new owner. PM if you want his number.

Hip is right. I did mine this way and it shifts great.
Do a search on pirate.

A freind of mine is selling his truck that he just put together that has a th400 203 205 doubler and triple stick he might pull it out and sell it if your interested i can ask him i know he had the th400 rebuilt just before installation
