What do you want for your set up? Length of it doesnt matter in my application.
I would recommend running a th400, not a th350(the cases break). There are 2 ways to modify a 205 for twinstick: remove the shiftrail interlock pins, or modify the shiftrails. I have done both. Removing the interlock pins is the easiest and requires no parts or mods, just remove the parts, this allows the front and rear drivelines to be shifter independantly. Modified the shiftrails requires you to do welding and machining, or you can buy them from ORD. Shifting using modified shiftrails is more difficult than no interlock pins, but keeps both outputs in the same range (hi or low). If you want to look at a tripplestick 203/205 and see how it shifts, give me a call. I also have most parts to do a th400/203/205. I would also recomend buying from Off Road Design, 1-970-945-7777. I have been buying parts from Steven for about 10 years with no problems.
to be able to front dig you only need to grind one shift rail in two places....no welding...interlocks to keep front high and rear low at the same time stay in place.
real easy if out of the rig...
But be carefull as there are 2 measurments floating around out there--one is too short..
7/16" is the correct one I promise.:;
