Is there anything wrong with running a th350 with a np 206 t-case on a wagoneer with a built sb350 with 36 in tires.

Do you mean a NP205? The cast iron adapters between the TH350 and 205 crack easily. TH350s have weak points: tailshaft housings break and internal "cogs" wear out too. TH400-205 would be better.

If you are talking 205 that is what i run. I haven't had any problems. Ony thing i would suggest is putting a shift kit in it to make it shift firmer.

np 206?

Right now I have a sm 465 to a 205 t-case, but I'm wanting to swap to an auto because of a bad left foot , and a buddy wants $200 for a good th350 and what he says is a 206 t-case out of a 90's ish 3/4 burb.

I believe that would be a np208..

NP208 is all aluminum, chain driven and has a long rear slip yoke, they never came behind a TH350, maybe it is a 700R4 which is crappy too IMO. If you want to do it once and wheel without worries, swap in a TH400-NP205, Art Carr shifter, 32 spline front output shaft and 1350 u-joints.
