The local sporting goods store called me Tuesday and said they needed me to bring my shotgun back up there. Had to be worked on and sent to Browning about 3 months ago. They had not gotten me to sign the log out book satin that the rightful owner picked it up. The ATF officer was up there letting them have it. I talked to Pat the owner and he was pissed. There was around 60 customers that they needed to bring their guns back up there before noon the next day. He said he had been wondering how long it would take for the gov to start cracking down hard on them and this was the start. He also said there was a heavy fine if the guns weren't accounted for. He believed this would shut alotta the small shops down. And this is only the beginning. :

The salesman that I bought my last pistol from a month ago explained all this to me. Like you said, I don't think its so much that they're "cracking down" on everyone. The fines that they're going to be handing out will be shutting down alot of mom and pop shops, I believe that is a big part of their intent of cracking down on signatures and simple bullshit. Fuggem!
