obd reader needed

anyone in the puyallup area have a OBD reader or (whatever their called)that I can borrow?
My sons 85 s-10 died last night and I dont have the little box for reading the computer:booo:

OBD-1 you can read the codes without a reader. Simply jump the A and B terminals on the ALDL output key on engine off. Count the blinks of the check engine light. Post up the number of blinks and I or someone could look up the code for you.

found the problem:cheer: apperantly dipstick put the rig in 4 wheel drive for some reason in doing so manage to catch a handfull of wires with the front driveline. This in turn shorted the fuses to the computer as wel as ripping the wires out of the oil preasure and watertemp sending units. all fixed now:cheer:
