Smoking that is. The cost, the smell, the hangovers all kill me. I smoke A LOT when drinking and a few here and there during the week, so I have never been a "true smoker" in that sense. Been doing this off an on since 16, 35 now. I quit for 4 years in KC and somehow picked it back up.

All my doing, no vagina is telling me to quit or else, so there is no stress and if I fail, so be it. I raced a chick at the game sat. that runs daily. She was in girly flip flops, me in shoes and she still out did me. That was a sign I think :flipoff1:

I'm in the same boat. Social smoker here. Will do it with a beer in the other hand. other thanthat is makes me sick. The wife was a smoker before the kid, and with her quiting cold turkey, it helped HUGE! I make have one blow out night once a month or so when drinking that I smoke 10 or something. But its getting harder. All the bars in Houston are now non-smoking. So the only place I smoke now is that cruise that you went to with me, and over at the TGTW garage. I'll kick it.

Also at the game on Sunday the guy I sit next to lost 45lbs since last season. He hates running but somehow got addicted to it through his neighbor. he bought an Ipod, and a treadmill and he said the lbs. flew off. Well I have hope. I'm grossely overweight by my standards. Heaviest i've ever been. I used to rock out around 200 for the longest time. I'm tipping in at 235-240 now. FAWK that I need to make changes for my sake and my families.


Good luck Bones, that **** ain't easy. Especially when you are used to it, and the smell is in the air.

Yes I am old and my balls are saggy. They make my weenis look even smaller these days :flipoff1:

Thanks man, I have no real reason to quit this time, so I hope that works for me.
 
I hear you, I way the exact same as you, but need to be 200-210. I need to do something to lose weight
 
I am seriously considering Handcuffing myself to a treadmill. If I don't I may kill myself by eating or more like drinking myself to a fatty glutonous death.

Have your Dr write you some Chantix. If you WANT to quit, it will really help. Like 80% chance if you want to.

I am going cold turkey at first as see how it goes. I am not a big pill popper unless it's Ibuprophen or my alergey pills. lol
