Trying to get my junk back up and ready for Rockfest

I cut my rear lower ugly tube and reworking the area for a better look.

My question is regarding a future rear sway bar. I was thinking of putting a straight 1.75 .120 wall on the two pieces of tube going down. So if in the future I have a spot for the sway bar. Does this make sense?
