orbital valve question

I bought a char Lynn orbital valve dirty cheap. Came off a fork truck. It has a tag with numbers
And numbers stamped on the body. How do I know if I have the correct valve for my rig?
I was told some valves don't work so well for trail rigs.

Well, use those numbers to figure out the specs on the valve.

Basically you'll want to know if it is open or closed center (open is what you need) and the displacement.
