It go's between the roller fairlead and the hook its made by Daystar. So you do not have to hook to a D ring or tow hook and no rattles. Its a pretty cool deal. I know that the spendy winches are faster but I dought if I use this thing very much as I am not a hardcore wheeler. The winch is like insurance to me.:redneck:Pete
