are they back open regularly or was it a one time deal? Heard there was some good riding there.
Don't know, I got invited but couldn't make it. I heard a bunch of guys from around McMinnville and such had worked on clearing the trails out from limbs/trees.

It's only about 90 acres, but its a real cool setup, basically one ridge with a pasture at the bottom. And the biggest hardest rock crawling you could want.

Didn't they hold a Crawl Rally event there a few years ago? I think that was when they brought out Crawlmaro and had a hill climb event. :dunno:

Yep, that was the last time I was there I think.

Mayhem was the first real rock crawling place I ever went. New years 2005

Aetna has some good riding, just make sure to stay on AMA property (it's marked). Also there was talk a few years ago about a park or something coming to the cove (not far from Aetna).

Sequatchie cove / Coppinger cove has a lot or good riding and I believe the area they were looking at was the upper end near Grundy Co. I haven't heard anything about it in awhile now but the Tanner ride this past weekend I'm pretty sure was close to that area.

Re:

The park in Coalmont is still a go from the last I heard, but has got caught up in Government red tape.

I thought the Tanner ride was in Coppenger cove? It was public land i thought? Thats where i learned to wheel really. Went there and i was 19 in my tj before it had any decent mods or built the way it is now. 33's and a lunch box locker. Good times.

I'm moving to Chattanooga next month and will follow that thread closely.

Let me know when you get here. We have a local club and do several rides a month. A lot of stockish jeeps but bigger boys too. Next ride is Hale on the 7th.
