I'm not 100% on the rules, but I've never even concidered ORV tabs cause everything I have had plates. So why would I buy ORV tabs?If I ran a bike (non dualsport) or SbS then I'd probably know more about them but if I understand correctly, if you have plates, then ORV tabs are not required for anything. Now I (as most people do) know that to run in Oregon you need and ORV tab to be on the trail. We've had threads about them and I support them IF, as you state above, the money went where intended. And it probably would to start.... till another budget crisis and its get raided.IMO the rules right now are all screwed up, but it would take a mystical AND act of God to straiten it all out so it makes sense. IMHO a "ORV" tabbed motorized vehicle should be allowed to run (obeying posted or general rules and limits) non-improved (i.e. not paved/gravel/logging) roads AND/or select roads in or immediately adjacent to recognized ORV areas purely for the intent of traveling between trailheads. But then again that makes sense, and we can't have that on the rule books.
