I was reading through Pirate about some metalworking company that is selling Plasma/tig/arc machines .

Prices are outstanding, reviews ( I got about half through the thread ) seem real well and all that. Anyone been following that thread ? What do you make of it ? Its in Vendors section.

I have two hypertherm 1000 and they work great. They go through alot of abuse at the school and here at the shop.

You will honestly never know how you even fuggin lived before plasma when you finally have one. I'm not talking ****, just everything is faster. **** a torch. its great for heating things up so they break loose or slip on easier. leave the rosebud on it and walk away :spin:

you need to talk to your welding gas shop (like here its praxair or kirks)
the combo pacs are nice but will not last very long if used more then a hobby
the boards inside have to much going on and burn out fast
yes i have a plasma and it kicks ass but it's a stand alone plasma
