I don't know my Yota's very well.

Is it a double cardan driveshaft, or a single u-joint?

In a DC, the pinion angle should point a degree or two below the output of the t-case.

If it is a single u-joint, that is way off.

I'm looking for this diagram that I can't seem to find.

Anywho. You want the pinion to point a few degrees below the output of the t-case. Under accleration, the pinion will rotate up a little bit. If the angle is too high, then you will be putting undue stress on your u-joints.
