This Poison Spyder Bruiser 8 chassis, located in east Tennessee, was completed in late 2006. It features the following:
• 2.5 ton Rockwell axles with new bearings throughout, Shaved pans from PSC. Hubs flipped.
• Front and rear steer rams from POS, electronics from Stazworx.
• D&W Tool & Machine fabricated the ram mounts and tube guards for the rams.
• Pinion brake conversion from Ouverson Engineering.
• Blue Torch Fabworks designed and installed the four-link suspension. It features 2.5†Sway-A-Way RaceRunner shocks. 1.25â€heim joints are at each link end.
• Bender (working at BTF at that time) designed and installed a custom cantilevered air bump stop setup.(gets attention everywhere it goes)
Drivetrain components:
• New Ram Jet 350.
• Th400.
• Atlas 4spd with 1410 yokes and u-joints.
Tires and Wheels
• 44â€x15†Super Swamper TSLs with good tread. They have some small sidewall cuts, and one tire contains a boot.(thank you cable hill in Gray Rock)
• Trail Ready custom steel wheels with the big aluminum rock rings.
Body, Chassis, and Cockpit
• AEV TJ hood.
• Fully paneled on both sides.
• Full trunk with locking door.
• Poison Spyder Customs fabricated the engine, transmission, and transfer case mounts.
• Lexan Windshield
• Lexan Sunroof
• Auto Meter gauges
• Ididit shorty steering column
• Lokar pedals
• Lokar cable shifter for the TH400
• Mastercraft Seats (driver has adjustable lumbar support)
• Mastercraft harnesses
• Marine CD player with wakeboard tower speakers and a marine bass tube in the trunk. Also has hookup for an Ipod.
• Rock Valley custom stainless fuel cell. (approximately 26 gallons)
• Grant GT steering wheel.
• LED taillights
ETC…
• Warn 9.5XP.
• Warn winch rope.
• Flex-A-Lite radiator and electric fan combo.
• PSC steering pump, and orbital valve.
• POS rear steer valve
• Custom Paint from M&M customs.
• This rig was invited to the Crawl Gray Rock photo shoot (Jan 2007) and performed quite well.
This rig has been used, but not abused. It has been to Gray Rock on several occasions, Tellico when it was still open, Harlan KY and made several trips to Coal Creek/Windrock. Probably 15 rides total. I need to sell this buggy, but not desperately. I am asking $34,000. I will listen to reasonable offers. No trades. Thank you for taking the time to look. If you have questions, please e-mail them to [email protected].
