I bought my XP900 from Shoals outdoors with the 5 year extended warranty and have had 2 axles replaced under it. I paid an additional $1000+ for it and two axles at this point which would have been less than $1000. Unless you are going to beat the crap out of it and use the higher valued portion of the warranty, I wouldn't do it. I also believe that when you are having work done under warranty, they do not get in any hurry to fix it due to slow speed the reimbursement of funds for the work.
