Thats nothing special . Its a 72 chevy step side 4x4 me and my dad build about 10 years ago when i was in high school .
 
That truck is cool, you need to get a snap shot of the old mans....it's as close to perfect as it can get I believe.

Anything that got built when I was in high school went big, big ass lift, big ass tires, big ass wheels, big ass stereo, big ass girlfriend, well maybe not the last one. Think 16 again when bigger was better :woot:
 
man thats a nice step side . those trucks are really hard to find in that gooda shape! thumb.gif i have built 2 blazers in the last 5 years 88 n 85 had to sell the 88 to help fund new rock toy i ll try to post some pics .

Sweet rides, I had 72 that was a complete rust bucket :****: I wish I still had it, HO engine, factory AC would have been nice fixed up.

Man i love both of those body styles i had 79 Scottsdale on 35s and a 82 K5 on 44inch Gumbos they were cool to hop in and go beat around town in...NateB on here has a 72 Blazer i been wantin to get my hands on for a while drool

I know where a 72 Blazer is and could be bought I imagine - but would be a real project for sure

It would have been cool fixed up but it needed EVERY body panel replaced. I've seen some that were beautiful fixed up, but this one was parts truck material.
 
Yea i Know what you mean about changing all body panels . We just got threw with one for my dad , and i think all that was salvaged on it was from the windows up .. Every thing else was changed , IT was a frame off restoration . It took us about 4-5 years just piddling with it when we had time . Ill get some pics. of the old clunker when i get a few rounded up .

Rear end 12 bolt , Detroit locker Chromy axles 4;56's
35 Procomp mud terrains .
Dual power Bucket seat with fold up consol , and third seat out of a new dodge truck
Vintage air kit .
aluminum 1/4 thick diamond tread floor in the bed .

thats a bad ass ride i want a blazer that bodie style. drool i tell ya one thing it is cheeper to buy um already fixed. i could have most every thing i have paid for for what ive spent on my two trucks but i love anything to do with a 4 wheel drive.
