Anyone know what's involved in preparing a powerglide trans to connect to a transfer case? I'll either be running an Atlas or NP205 case. Any help on this by those who know the answer is greatly appreciated.

Just need an adapter. It has the same 27 spline output as a th350 does. One of the trucks we race is running a powerglide to a 205 just had to make an adapter out of some 1/2 inch plate and some round tubing, cant remember the size. I may be wrong but I think Advanced Adapters sells an adapter if you didnt want to make one.

I knew you would have an answer.

Say what now?

All three of my powerglides required new output shafts...The splines don't go down the long shaft enough to just cut if off short with use of the Advance Adapters adapter.

Maybe you have a super long adapter?
