Pre filter?

What is there to know about pre air filters or air filter wraps? Also I swear I had seen them for the round air filters but can only seem to find them for the cone and tube shaped filters.


Any advice?

I think my air filter is 13.5 diameter and 2 in tall.

You can get foam pre filters for the traditional round air filters at the local circle track shop for about 4 dollars. They work but plug up after a dusty ride so have to pull them and shake them out.
