I figured out my 52" springs were too short on the back of the wagon with the 42" swampers so on and under goes a set of chevy 63's and a start of a dove tail for fun...more pics as the project continues.I had to cut out the old cross member/bumper and build a new/better one out of 2x5x1/4 rec tube.Not sure if I'm keeping the revolvers (any input on revolvers would be helpfull)Yes I'm going to run a good anti spring wrap/traction bar.:beer:

Removing it will not help him. Its not on the overload leaf in the pics. If its not sitting on the overload leaf at ride height then it wont change when removed. :;

Plus they help from your springs re-arching, the 63"s always had a problem if you rearch them to much they snap near they eye

The height won't change? Never mind that the overload is about 1" thick smells like the height would drop about 1" don't ya think.... :flipoff:

1 inch aint ****. Yes you are correct but have no clue.

If you dont cut that over load down and use it as a 1 inch spacer then you open up all kinds of problems.

1... 40 bucks..10 each...ubolts will usually be too short (a three leaf chev pack is pretty thin)

2.. 10 bucks ...spring pin wil be an inch too long.

3... whlle hop is a garantee without the over load or a traction bar.

If an inch is worth 50 bucks and a headache, go for it:beer:

WTF do I care I have never run those retarded springs now will I ever use them... But I know many many guys that run them with the overload cut down and/or removed completely. Every one of them uses a traction bar whick seems to be pretty much a requirement with those springs in the first place. Especially with revolvers....

well I recommended removing the overload to allow deaching when flexing uptravel. he will need a traction bar anyway, and I agree to lose the revolvers, they do no good since there is no weight on the tire dropping that far. I thought most people running 63s modify the pack anyway. You gotta lower it somehow or get bigger rubber and more lift up front.

It's alive..........No rubbing,enough wheel travel for me and its 79 inches tall with 28 inches to the frame with a flat belly.:beer::beer::beer:More pics later.

1. you mean too long. but 1 inch isn't **** so there should be plenty of thread on the u-bolts to compensate. = Free

2. rounded off bolt out of the bolt bucket. Free

3. Overload has nothing to do with wheel hop.

just saved $50 buy material for anti-wrap bar or 3 cases of beer :beer:

revolvers bring the suck :puke:

I have two anti-wrap bars on each side by the spring pads,I used F-150 u-bolts and plates and still have two inches of thred under the bolt and for the center pins I got some black round allen head 1/4 inch X 2 inch bolts from Home Depot for a buck each.
