Project buggy build

The buggy is slowly coming along. This is my first buggy that iis have done. It is goin to have
A 4.3 vortex toyota axles two yota tcases turbo 350
trans 14 inch fox air shocks. Belly pan will be some where around
19-20" with a set of 40" tires.

What WB? If your short I would go higher. I'm 124 with 24" belly with 40" tires and I bottom out some. But WB is good. 116 or so would be good. Just my 2 cents
 
Am goin to go around 115a or so wit 20" belly what ya think. How do u think it looks so far.
 
Thats the exact running gear in my zuk, just my 2 cents on the axles, if you havent already spent a ton of money on them yet, dont! run them till they break and go 1 tons, i had the 1.3 and 36 tsl for a couple years and beat the dog out of it, never broke! put the 4.3 and 37 reds on, I have broke 1 locker, 2 sets of 5.29 in front and 2 in back, 1 stock axle, then a chromemoly axle, output shaft on t-case, and a front birf! and i dont drive it hard by any means! but im sure you be alot lighter then me also, :dunno:

Toyota axles are only good for 4cyl.
 
Ya they were built when i got them. I got them bc ther litter than
tons. But may have been a bad idea

AW HELL its all in how yer gonna wheel with em,,,,,,

Any time. got to build some tj bumpers this week an then ill be on the buggy again.
 
Julio got as point there! :****:, you got the rite idea, keep it little and lite! Bein that your axle already got good stuff thats cool, now that a i look back i started with stockers and got as much money in them now as could have built a good set of tons, but i guess it would just break something else!
 
Ya i gave 800 for both fully built. Dirty 30's 529's trusses axle rebuild
kit locker front and rear new braked front and rear
