Well, I finally got some more work done, been sick and busy for a while! Got the motor out and that was fun. My first experience at pulling a motor. Alot of cleaning and scrubbing off grease and caked on oil. And repainting the parts. The front main seal was leaking and so was the rear main, still scraping off cooked on oil in the bell housing. Found out why I couldn't get the old motor to start. I found the wire's that go to the coil were totally fried to the point that I just blew on the wires and they turned to dust! Luckily, I found a local guy that has a yard and shed's full of parts, and the city is hounding him to clean up his yard. I needed a exhaust, and he had one, so I went over to his place to see what he had! Holy crap! I got the exhaust, gas filler neck, and two doors (just needed the door stop) for free! I was willing to give him $ but he refused, including some beer and pop. The doors have seen better days, HALF DOORS here I come!I'll get pics up as soon as I download them.
