So just putting along and getting closer to having some steering in this thing Here is the orbitral mounted. I thought I had the complete stock sami steering shaft and I didn't--just the u-joint. So all I did was take a portion of a toy steering shaft--turned it down so it fit into the splined area of the zooks u-joint and welded it in--As a safety precauting I also notched the shaft where it went into the splined area and retained the bolt... So the rig is now half way there to having steering. So I drug this tuna can out and---time to get the ram mounted...
