Hey gang.
I went down to Washougal (near Vancouver, WA) the other day and picked up a '88 Jeep Comanche Pioneer for $700. It's rough, but I'm super stoked to have it as a project. Eventually I plan to DD it and use it for camping.
Eventually I'm hoping to pick up a 97+ XJ Cherokee donor and swap about as much as I can from it in to the MJ.
Here's the link to my build thread over at Comanche Club:

I'm new to Skagit county so I would appreciate any available comradery.
Thanks for reading and CHEERS!

Nice find. I'm not a Jeep guy but I always liked the comaches. Keep us posted. BTW, keep an eye on the Walker Valley forum, it's local and there's runs up there all the time.

Hey!
I've got to bring this thing somewhere local to get my new perches welded on and pinion set.
Anyone have a suggestion for a place to go? or does anyone want to get paid to do it?
I can't seem to find a local fab shop in the Skagit/Whatcom area.
Help!
