I'll let Cole tell every one why i named my build this. A lot of people have been asking for a build thread of my buggy so i decided why not! Here is my frail attempt at buggy building. I purchased a fusion two seat chassis from Blue Torch Fab in December of 2006. I since have been piddling with it here and there. The main reason why I have not finished it by now is because my wife decided she wanted to go back to school and get a degree/license (whichever) for radiography (x-ray tech). I know that it is good for me case hopefully when she gets out we can have a little more money to play with! If you have any questions about anything here feel free to ask. If you have any suggestions please feel free to give them, cause I really can use all the help I can get. Here it is!

Specs are:

Motor: ? 5.3 or 6.0 not sure which yet
Trans: TH350
T-case: Dana 300 w/HD shafts
Rear Axle: GM 14 bolt 5.13 with detroit
Front Axle: Dana 60 5.13 Detroit, Yukons, spicer joints right now looking to upgrade in the future
Wheel Base: 112"115"
Tires- Undecided prolly Krawlers
Wheels- Trail Ready HD 17's
Upper Links- 1.75x.250 DOM
Lower Links-2.0x.250 DOM

In some of the pics you can see a TPI 350. I decided to not go that route just the other day so that is why I have Coles motor in the buggy.

Just curious, with that adjustable steering colum, where are you gunna mount the orbital? Right behind it or on the otherside of the firewall?

Why do people mount them in the cab anyway? Space? I'd rather it be shielded by a piece of aluminum then right on yer person. :dunno:

Yeah, just on the otherside of the firewall. Those thing get too dang hot to put in the cab with ya!

Yes, and the chance of a hose failure sucks when its in your lap

They're still there. Haven't dealt with that yet and not sure if I am. Maybe a conversation piece! ;D

Hell no you better not mess with them. Thats what seperates that chassis from the rest of them. Gotta love Ball bearings :flipoff1:

Great job, I'd be proud to ride in that rig. Is this your first full off build? Really nice detail. How much more till it's maiden beating? Would like to be there. Post up when ready. drool

Yeah, it's my first full build. I have helped a lot of people with some stuff on a couple other rigs before just not a full build (except chassis). I'm shooting somewhere around the first of the year for the maiden voyage but who knows! Seems like when I get ahead and get some monies something happens. :dunno: We'll see though! ;D
