That's a definite no. In fact, I'm not sure it would be possible to pull the 22r with tranny/t-case attached out of the truck without cutting the core support. Remove starter and all the bell housing bolts and you're golden. The two on the top are the PITA ones... get a ratcheting 17mm wrench and prepare to spend some quality time with your hand between the motor and firewall.
