My trans started making a noise at WindRock. It was so loud, it could be heard over the CB radio. Rich rode with me at WindRock trying to figure out what it was. It is loud only in the Jeep, can not be heard as it drives by. ORC (Keith) has been booked up. We knew this was going to take some lift time as the transmission was repaired. I rode it one more time since then at the Miles In The Ham ride. P rode with me a lot that day and heard the trans making the noise. The best way to describe it is "a playing card in bicycle spokes 100 times louder". I finally got it to Keiths today and we took it for a test drive. We come back in and put it on the lift. Keith goes over and gets two wire ties and ties the shift cable off the yoke on the Atlas. Problem solved. Guess the wire tie broke at WindRock.

Doh!!!! :eek:

Price FREE :spin:

Okay, blonde moment. ::)
