I need to redo the fuel line going into the intake on my CPI 4.3 because it's kinked. What have you guys done to replace the goofy GM bubble flare w/oring fitting? It's kinked pretty much right at the nut so I can't cut it off and splice it.
Thanks, Chad

I ran air brake hose and weather head fittings on our rigs, just get the conversion fitting to go from your application to the re usable weatherhead ones, I even used this same lime to make my hydralic lines for our full hydro set ups. And it is cheaper then f.i. Hose at the auto parts store.

Napa sells a kit but I have never used it (comes with 2 short lines). I have a tool and just make my own.

Yeah, I talked to the numbniks at napa and got the blank stare routine last week. I may see if I can find a fitting that is the correct thread and just seal the threads instead of useing a swivel fitting.

I like the Idea of the DOT hose because we have lots of scraps laying around but that stuff won't like fuel in it for long. I may use the 180psi FI hose but yeah it's like $7/ft.

My friends and I have been using the air brake hose for a few years and no problems, but hey we have back woods rigs compared to most on here?
