Question on high steer

I was looking at options for high steer cross over steering for a dana 44 for my toyota SAS and came across a kit that puts the tie rod behind the axle.

I am sure some of you have run it this way but what do you think about this option and is worth the extra money?

No--not really. Plus you might run into oil pan clearance issues
 
If you got the room, one less thing to hit in the front. But like crash pointed out, its also one more thing it fit 'back there'.


Probably not worth it but I've seen a couple guys pull it off cleanly and successfully.
