who wants to know?
i have a budy that wants to trade me some stuff for a brand new quick-lock locker for the front of my yota. should i or not. has anyone run one before and are they decent?

isn't the quick lock a trail gear copy of the Lockrite? If its made the same way i would say go for it, mine works great and as soon as i get a DD i will be throwing another in the rear, Lockrite that is. :)

mayby if you run smal tires and low hp.... or if what you are trading has about the same value.. ie: junk.. sure...

otherwise id let him keep the elcheepo factory 2nds..

I got a buddy that did the quikloc in the front of his jeep. It didn't work after a couple trips out. Its not a hopped up rig either. Maybe just bad luck, but at any rate just a warning.

I guess it depends on what he wants of your stuff. I run a Aussie up front and really like it. Allthough it is tough to turn on down hill stuff.

i run lock rights front and rear in my taco and have never had a problem. the value of what i am trading him is about $100. i really dont think i can go wrong for a brand new $300 dollar locker for $100 bucks. even when it does break. i think it will be worth the $100 bones.
