Racepack questions

I am buying a jeep with a LS2 motor and Racepack in the dash I was just wondering if anybody could educate me on these?

Likes and dislikes, does the racepack run the motor or is it just hooked in to the harness? The computer looks like one of the MEFI computers.

I am buying the jeep from my father in law and he doesnt seem to know much about what he has, the motor is running very rich and needs to be put on a dyno and tuned any help would be appreciated.

Which Racepak? And no they arent ECM's they are gauges, the IQ3's are guages plus dataloggers via V-net cables.

Racepak has awesome support.
Online they have all downloads for whichever dash you have.

Find, print, read. Then re-read. They also have a support forum on their website.

I run an IQ3 in my landspeed car, just because its easy to add and swap guage/logging programs (shift points, different temp points or pressure point)for the different motors for the different classes we run. I am far from an expert and find myself referring back to the manual or calling the tech guy I rely on.
